Neko to Jiichan  

Please describe this piece of artwork. It portrays the daily routine of an elderly gentleman named Daikichi, who resides on a small island with his feline companion Tama. The artwork captures the breathtaking views of the island's changing seasons on a day-to-day basis. Through vivid colors, the artist beautifully illustrates the bond between the human and the cat.

Neko to Jiichan was a Jury Selection in the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2015. The series was adapted to a live-action movie on February 22, 2019.
