In a distant galaxy, many years past, Luke Skywalker, a Jedi knight from Tatooine, embarks on a mission to rescue his friend Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. Along with Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, R2-D2, and C-3PO, Luke plans meticulously for this rescue operation. Meanwhile, the Rebel Alliance receives concerning news about the Empire's construction of a new Death Star. Darth Vader and the Emperor himself oversee this project. However, the Rebellion has also obtained plans for attacking this station by targeting its weakness on the forest moon of Endor. As the saga concludes, Luke confronts his father, Darth Vader, once again while battling the dark side of the Force. With the end of the war imminent, the Empire and Rebellion prepare for their final battle, which will determine the fate of the entire galaxy.
