Shinichi Honda is an open-minded high school student who speaks his mind without hesitation. He has a strong sense of morality but can be brutish in his actions. On the other hand, Mako Wakamiya is a member of the public morals committee and takes her duties very seriously. She appears to be composed on the outside, but she's actually quite clumsy with a sensitive heart. When they first meet, both Shinichi and Mako are caught up in their own awkward situations, making them feel uncomfortable around each other. Despite this, months later, when Mako must confiscate an adult manga from Shinichi during her committee duty, the two engage in a hilarious chase throughout the school. As they continue to cross paths more frequently, there may be hope that they can learn to get along despite their initial awkwardness.
