In a small town, there is a restaurant run by a youthful chef who is intrigued by a mysterious woman who frequently dines alone in a mask. He speculates that she must be smuggling food in Tupperware containers due to her petite frame and voracious appetite. However, when he eventually confronts her about it, he learns that she has a medical condition that requires her to consume large amounts of food.

Kanojo no Tokutouseki, alternatively titled "Her Special Seat," took first place in the 29th Young Gangan Manga Awards.Kajimoto Akari, the author and illustrator, often incorporates the Japanese urban legend Kuchisake-onna into her fiction, frequently depicting her in other manga.
