The narrative revolves around a female student who has been at odds with an orange-haired classmate since their first day in high school. On a particular occasion, this orange-haired individual declares his affection towards the girl. Meanwhile, another boy named Shintaro, whom she harbors romantic feelings for, mistakenly perceives them as a couple and jeopardizes her chances of confessing her love to him.
