Anko is a 12-year-old shinobi apprentice from a secluded village in Japan who trains daily to surpass the strength of men. However, she becomes frustrated with the physical differences and decides not to become more feminine. Instead, she takes a shinobi selection exam to serve as an assistant to a famous family's master. Ninkoi is a modern-day ninja romance comedy.
