In this world where certain individuals have unique talents, those who use their abilities for righteousness are known as "heroes," while those who employ them for malevolence are referred to as "fiends." Despite all of this, Chiaki, a young man without employment who is responsible for his younger siblings, searches for work. On the way to an interview, he notices a victim being harassed by a pervert and instinctively intervenes. This act of justice leads Chiaki into a struggle between good and evil, truth and deception, and light and darkness.
