On her first day at high school, after accidentally bumping into a new classmate's chest, Hinami Ayukawa discovers that she has fallen in love with Shiki Hiiragi. Despite being clumsy and not skilled in sports, Shiki invites Hinami to join the basketball team. This proposal excites Hinami, despite her poor skills. She is further drawn to Shikis impressive playstyle. Although intimidated by an upperclassman from the team, Hinami nearly confesses her love for Shiki. However, this leads to a misunderstanding where Shiki believes that Hinami loves basketball and offers her the position of team manager instead. Now, although inexperienced, Hinami must balance managing the girls basketball team, avoiding judgment from upperclassmen, and growing closer to the one who stole her heart.
