Yamada Taichi was an average and lonely boy who developed feelings for Shina Kokoro, an idol he admired. One day, there was a promotion event for a DVD featuring Kokoro on the rooftop of a complex building. During this event, Kokoro accidentally fell off the roof and landed on Taichi, who was on his way to meet her. Both of them were injured, with Taichi only sustaining minor injuries while Kokoro required surgery.
