The dirty dawg disbanded due to sudden animosity among its members. ex-members ichirou yamada and samatoki aohitsugi were invited to participate in the first division rap battles, a competition organized by the party of words that pitted the best of each division against one another for territory, pride, and money. due to their hatred for each other, they formed separate teams: buster bros!!! with ichirou's younger brothers jirou and saburou, and mad trigger crew with samatoki striking a deal with corrupt police officer jyuto iruma and ex-navy member riou mason busujima. both groups won their respective division qualifiers to represent ikebukuro and yokohama in the finals. as they clashed, the rift between ichirou and samatoki began to unravel into a complex situation involving japan's new matriarchal government.
