Mechanical beings known as Clockworkers were developed during war for the purpose of killing large numbers of people. Although that conflict has ended, some malfunctioning Clockworks continue to pose a threat and cause harm. Machinas is part of an organization called CWA, which focuses on eliminating these rogue robots. Along with her partner Deus, she travels across the country in search of dangerous Clockworkers.
