However, cases that target specific individuals with hidden identities are too complex for Reimu to handle alone. That's where Satori Komeiji comes in as the mistress of The Palace of Earth Spirits. As a satori youkai with a third eye that can read minds, she can detect any criminal regardless of their attempts at deception. With her exceptional detective skills, Satori can solve all mysteries that come her way, even if she prefers to remain indoors in her mansion.

Touhou Chireikiden: Hansoku Tantei Satori went on hiatus following the February 2021 release due to the health concerns of the original artist Ginmokusei. The series resumed serialization on October 2021 with Yuu Akimaki as the new artist.
