In Jan, the capital city of a strong nation, lived Prince Setsuka, who received fencing lessons from Karen, a stunning young woman. Along with two prisoners from their enemy country, Suiran and Shiraha, Setsuka spent his days training with Karen. One fateful day, Jan was brutally attacked by their enemies, resulting in the deaths of everyone in the city. However, just as Setsuka was about to be killed, Kokuyou, a newbie swordsman with exceptional skills, arrived with a group of smugglers known as the Karanhyoukyoku. This marked the beginning of Setsuka's journey across the continent to reach a safe haven.
