After the conclusion of the First Division Rap Battle, Ichirou Yamada and Samatoki Aohitsugi return to their regular lives with a goal of enhancing their rapping abilities in preparation for future battles. However, a new drug called "Grasshopper" emerges on Ikebukuro and Yokohama streets, causing users to experience violent mood swings and hallucinations that can lead to losing their minds and suffering heart attacks from overdoses. Samatoki is assigned by his gang to eliminate the drug dealers who have encroached on their territory. He discovers that Jyuto Iruma from his team is also investigating Grasshopper for the police, prompting them to collaborate in finding its source. Meanwhile, a friend of Jyrou Yamada enlists Ichirou's assistance in locating his kidnapped younger brother held for ransom by a rival gang. Despite his initial suspicion about Jyrou's friend, Ichirou cannot abandon someone in need. As they progress in their separate investigations, they encounter familiar faces and adversaries. With an unknown entity manipulating events, Ichirou and Samatoki are determined to uncover who is responsible.
