In the realm of the Lands Between, there was previously conflict among demigods for control over the Elden Ring, which held immense power within its set of runes. Currently, we meet Aseo, who emerges from a graveyard in Limgrave with minimal possessions and no memory of his past. Encountering the harsh environment and its inhabitants, Aseo feels hopeless until he meets Melina, a mysterious woman who presents him with a dangerous proposition. Despite having limited options, Aseo agrees to her offer. However, in exchange for assistance in his journey, he must bring Melina with him along a treacherous path leading to the Erdtree. Armed only with a loincloth, club, and his horse Torrent, Aseo must confront numerous challenges and engage with the peculiar inhabitants of the Lands Between.

Elden Ring: Ougonju e no Michi has been published digitally as an English simulpub as Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree by Yen Press through ComicWalker. It has also been simulpub in Thai, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Portuguese. The volumes have been published in English by Yen Press since May 23, 2023.
