In essence, the story revolves around Power, who enjoys watching her favorite anime and aspires to become a brilliant detective. Along with Denji as her assistant, they embark on an investigation into missing persons at a mountain hotel. Additionally, there are other narratives that focus on Quanxi and Kishibe's relationship nine years after their initial encounter, Himeno and Aki's first joint assignment, and Denji, Power, and Aki's dream vacation to Enoshima.
