Haruyoshi Kuga, once a powerful exorcist who was betrayed by his allies and faced imminent death, yearned for happiness in his next life after being transported to another world through a secret art of reincarnation. As Seika Lamprogue, third son of a renowned family of magic scholars, he discovered that he had no magical abilities, which was a source of shame in a family of mages. Despite this, he soon realized that the magic in this new world was not as powerful as the sorcery he had mastered as an exorcist. With his skills in divination, curses, and command over legions of youkai, he believed that he could easily navigate this new world. However, he was faced with the challenge of using these powers discreetly to avoid another untimely demise.

Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki: Geboku no Youkai-domo ni Kurabete Monster ga Yowasugirunda ga began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on December 26, 2018. A revised and illustrated version of the series has been published by Futabasha since July 30, 2019 under its M Novels label.
