Meet Hikaru Kago and Takaomi Togasawa, two individuals from vastly different backgrounds who have been brought together by circumstance. Kago was once a member of the yakuza, but has since agreed to work with law enforcement through a plea bargain. Togasawa, on the other hand, is a highly skilled cop who prefers to work behind a desk rather than on the streets. Despite their differences, they must now work together as protection officers responsible for safeguarding victims or targets connected to the yakuza. Their assignment, known as "the last bureau before heaven," presents them with unique challenges every day.
