Nichijou dewa Saenai Tada no Ossan, Hontou wa Chijou Saikyou no Senshin began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on October 21, 2017. The first official volume was published on August 1, 2018 by Kadokawa under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label.
