Makoto, a college sophomore, experiences anxiety regarding romantic relationships. During a practice session expressing his feelings for an imaginary partner, he unknowingly attracts Shiro, a mysterious stranger who becomes fascinated with Makoto's declaration of love. Shiro then decides to reside within Makoto's apartment, growing stronger on positive words while diminishing with negative ones. Through Shiro's guidance, Makoto learns how to fill emotional voids within himself, leading him to his first romantic encounter.
