As they journeyed towards Zakkaria from Rulid Village, Eugeo and Kirito came across Medina Orthinanos, a noble girl fighting off monsters on the highway. Medina was part of a family that had been exiled from Norlangarth due to being deemed flawed by its empress. After losing her father in an accident, Medina aimed to become an Integrity Knight in order to restore her family's tarnished reputation. However, she was unaware that the two boys she encountered were also aspiring Integrity Knights who would eventually confront the Axiom Church and end the life of its supreme leader.
