Souji Mitsuka is a typical teenager with a fascination for twintails. One day he comes across a girl named Twoearle from another dimension when monsters invade his town and proclaim that all twintails worldwide belong to them. These creatures feed off "attribute strength," which refers to the spiritual energy of humans. Twoearle bestowed upon Souji Tail Gear, armor that activates through potent twintail attributes. As a result of this equipment, Souji transforms into Tail Red, a warrior girl with twintails, tasked with safeguarding Earth.
