Saenai Boku ga Kimi no Heya de Shiteiru Koto wo Classmate wa Daremo Shiranai began as a web novel on Kakuyomu under the title "Inkya no Boku ni Sex Friend ga Iru Koto wo Class no Kimitachi wa Mada Shiranai" (陰キャの僕にセフレがいる事をクラスの君達はまだ知らない) on January 8, 2021. Kadokawa has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since April 1, 2022 under its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label.
