On the Vogel continent, the Adrasia Empire has fallen, leaving its succession uncertain. The children of the emperor are competing for power, but one prince is widely regarded as unfit for the throne - Prince Arnold Lakes Adler. Despite being inferior to his twin brother in every way, Arnold is one of only five SS-Class adventurers known as "Silver." He is lazy and unmotivated, spending his days playing around instead of working towards his goal. However, behind his unassuming exterior lies a cunning mind. As the battle for the throne intensifies, Arnold decides that he doesn't want to die in the fight and decides to manipulate events so that his brother becomes emperor instead. This is the story of Arnold's absurd secret machinations as he plots his way to power without actually wanting it.
