Komari, a three-year-old shut-in who is also a vampire, is suddenly given command of a unit in the Mulnite Imperial Army. However, her unit consists of only belligerent ruffians who constantly rebel against their superiors. Despite being from a line of powerful and prestigious vampires, Komari has refused to drink blood, which has made her weak and inept at magic.
