One year has passed since the conclusion of "The Fable." Currently, Akira and Youko must halt their current assignment because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. They have returned to Osaka and are now living as ordinary citizens. However, their tranquil existence is short-lived as they soon discover that peace is not sustainable.
