Unnamed Memory started on the author's personal website in 2008. It later began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on September 12, 2012. The first official volume was published on January 17, 2019 by Kadokawa under the Dengeki no Shinbungei label.The series was published in English by Yen Press under the Yen On imprint from November 17, 2020 to October 18, 2022.
