During the 15th century in Europe, individuals who held unorthodox beliefs were executed by burning them at the stake. At that time, it was customary for young individuals like Rafal, who possessed exceptional intellect, to attend university early and specialize in studying theology. However, Rafal prioritized reason above all else, leading him to two groundbreaking conclusions - that the Earth revolves around the Sun and that he came into contact with the Inquisition. Ten years later, two members of the Watch Guild - Oczy, a stern young man, and Gras, a cynical individual - stumbled upon a concealed chest containing information about the secrets that Rafal had left behind. They were faced with the dilemma of whether they should attempt to alter their own destinies by selling these controversial texts or if doing so would only result in their own persecution and execution.
