After finishing her beloved manga series, Fuuko Izumo feels ready to end her life due to a condition that brings misfortune to anyone who touches her for the past 10 years. This has caused significant harm in her surroundings, including the death of her parents. On a bridge above train tracks, Fuuko is touched by a stranger who causes his footing to break and falls in front of an oncoming train. However, when she finds his body, she discovers that he has regenerated and is coming back to life. She names him Andy and learns that he is immortal like herself and desires death. Initially hesitant, Fuuko eventually decides to work with Andy to give him the best possible death. However, a shadowy organization is watching from behind the scenes, hoping to exploit their unique abilities.

In 2020, Undead Unluck won the Best Printed Manga category at the sixth Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards. It ranked 14th on Kono Manga ga Sugoi!'s 2021 list of top manga for male readers and sixth on Honya Club's Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2021 list.Undead Unluck has been simulpub in English through MANGA Plus. The volumes have been published in English by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump imprint since May 4, 2021.
