In the late 19th century, within the borders of the British Empire, there resided an orphaned young woman named Wisteria. Her life was filled with sorrow and emptiness until she crossed paths with Marbas, a potent yet solitary immortal creature with a soft furry exterior, pursued relentlessly by hunters. Along with Marbas, Wisteria journeyed across the sprawling empire, inhabited by humans and human-like creatures, in search of a sanctuary where they could coexist peacefully.

Nokemono-tachi no Yoru has been published in English as The Tale of the Outcasts by Seven Seas Entertainment since June 1, 2021; in French by Doki Doki.
