Togainu no Chi  

In the aftermath of world war iii, japan was divided into two parts. years later, a criminal organization called vischio seized control of the destroyed city of toshima, where they organized a battle game known as "igura." the main character in this story is akira, a young man who is falsely accused of a crime and placed under arrest. while incarcerated, he encounters a mysterious woman who offers him freedom in exchange for participating in igura and defeating its strongest competitor: the king or "il-re." the narrative follows akiras journey through the dangerous and lawless toshima as he strives to survive while uncovering the enigmatic circumstances surrounding his situation.
