A young man lives in a green area with his energetic yet soft calico cat named Kabocha. While she appears to be lazy when sleeping under the shade of their home, Kabocha is quite adventurous outdoors. She explores nature and meets various animals, some of whom may behave aggressively towards her. As time passes, Kabocha's adventures become increasingly bizarre.
