Kodaka Hasegawa has enrolled at a new school and is struggling to make friends due to his blond hair giving others the impression that he's a delinquent. One day, while Yozora, an antagonistic and solitary individual, was conversing animatedly with her imaginary friend Tomo, Kodaka encountered her. They discovered they both lacked real companionship and decided forming a club would be beneficial. Thus, "Rinjin-bu" was established, a club catering to individuals who have difficulty making friends. As more lonely students joined the group, they aimed to improve their social skills through shared activities like cooking and playing games. However, with their history of relationship difficulties, it remained uncertain whether this collection of misfits could successfully coexist.
