One day, high school student Kogami Kii finds himself in a bizarre situation where he witnesses a little girl attacking a teacher and causing his head to explode. Initially believing it to be a dream, Kii goes to the restroom to compose himself. However, upon returning, he discovers that the incident was not a dream and the little girl is repeatedly saying "magical" as she kills his friends and classmates. Along with his childhood friend Tsukune, who is often bullied, Kii witnesses the resurrection of their friends' corpses into zombie-like killers shouting "magical." Now, Kii and Tsukune must endure with other survivors and try to uncover what has happened to their world.
Mahou Shoujo of the End has been published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment as Magical Girl Apocalypse since October 14, 2014 and in Spanish by Ivrea España since May 28, 2015.
