Kanou Shinichi is an otaku who comes from a family of creators in the entertainment industry. He has a deep understanding and appreciation for "moe," which encompasses various forms of media such as manga, anime, games, light novels, and figures. Despite not possessing any special powers, he uses his broad knowledge, keen insight, and exceptional instinct to navigate through the world of fantasy. One day, Kanou is transported to a realm where elves and dragons exist. He is tasked with promoting cultural exchange by acting as an ambassador for "moe" culture in this new environment. Along his journey, he encounters individuals who share his interests, such as a palace guard with a taste for fujoshi and a half-elf maid. The empress, however, is only a young girl. Kanou's initial plan involves establishing a school to teach the people about "moe" culture. At first, the endeavor is met with laughter and lightheartedness. However, as time progresses, Kanou must confront more serious issues such as discrimination based on ethnicity, social problems, conflicts with neighboring countries, and sabotage from opposition factions including representatives from Japan. Despite these challenges, Kanou remains determined to bring "moe" culture to the fantasy world while also addressing the needs of its inhabitants.
