A college student named Chie Souma is feeling depressed because she's having trouble finding employment. When she woke up, she realized that she was in a different world. In this new world, being a woman looked dangerous, so Chie decided to crossdress and become Souma. To her surprise, she discovered that she could read the language of this new world and began working as a librarian in a village.
