The sequel, Inazuma Eleven Ares, will occur in a different world following the events of the initial game. It will focus on three main characters - Ryouhei Haizaki, Asuto Inamori, and Yuuma Nosaka. This story centers around a group of boys who enjoy playing soccer and are part of a club on an island. However, their club is abolished, requiring them to win the Football Frontier in order to regain it. The protagonist, Asuto Inamori, along with his companions, departs from the island for Tokyo to attend Raimon Junior High School and compete in the Football Frontier. Their first match is against Seishou Gakuen, which is ranked number one.
