The "Great War of Heroes," in which heroes and demon kings battle for survival and power in each incarnation. The fourth great war saw the heroes emerge victorious over the Demon King. This fact remains undisclosed. Twoeight, an ace agent from the dark side of the kingdom, carries out all the dirty work to support the hero in defeating the Demon Lord from behind the scenes. As a former "behind the scenes" agent, Twoeight hopes for a peaceful life after the war. However, simply defeating the Demon Lord is not enough to bring peace to the world. This story follows an awkward boy who struggles to protect his daily life while fighting and opposing as much as he can.

Kage no Eiyuu no Nichijou-tan: Yuusha no Ura de Anyaku Shiteita Saikyou no Agent. Soshiki ga Kaitai Sareta node, Shoutai Kakushite Hitonami no Nichijou wo Ouka suru. began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou, where 127 web chapters were published from June 9, 2019 to November 20, 2020. A revised and illustrated version of the series was published in print by Kadokawa from March 5, 2020 to January 26, 2021.
