The objective of Magical Law (Mahouritsu) is to inflict penalties on spirits that have caused harm to humans or committed wrongdoings. In this story, we meet Muhyo, a prodigious practitioner of Magic Law who has recently become the youngest Executor ever, and his assistant Jirou Kusano (Roji), who often complains but rarely supports him. Together, they investigate strange blackouts and supernatural occurrences in the city, including those involving a mysterious "demon magician" who creates forbidden tools. As they delve deeper into the mystery, an ominous shadow looms over them. Will Muhyo and Roji be successful in solving this case?
