Makoto, a young man who has fled from home, finds himself in the company of hazuki, an older bachelor with a penchant for drinking and women. despite his disreputable lifestyle, hazuki takes makoto under his wing and offers him a place to stay. over time, makoto comes to appreciate hazukis easygoing nature and willingness to accept him into his life, even though he knows that their relationship can never be anything more than platonic. however, despite this knowledge, makoto finds himself falling in love with hazuki, leading to a heartwarming and humorous bl story about the unlikely friendship between a runaway boy and a drunken bachelor.
