The Ribika are feline creatures with ears, tails, lithe bodies, and inhabit the land of Shisa. A malevolent force known as "The Void" is spreading throughout their forests. In a small village called Karou resides one Ribika named Konoe. On waking up one morning, he discovers that his ears and tail have turned black, indicating that he has been afflicted by the curse. Determined to uncover the truth behind this ominous mark, Konoe embarks on a quest through the forest.
