Kunon, who was born blind, aims to become the first person to use water magic to create new eyes for himself. After five months of study, he has surpassed his teacher and continues to develop his abilities. With his magic, he can not only sense color but also make useful objects and even summon a whole cat. His skills and resourcefulness soon reach the court, earning him a position as disciple to the most powerful magician in the land. However, Kunon's ultimate goal of creating new eyes for himself may be unattainable.

Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on August 5, 2021. Kadokawa has published a revised an illustrated version of the series under its Kadokawa Books label since March 10, 2022.The series has been licensed in English as Kunon the Sorcerer Can See Through by Yen Press under its Yen On imprint.
