In an effort to transform from her former monotonous self, Miya Nekoma made a daring high school debut by joining the Light Music Club at her school. However, before she could sign up, she was stopped by Hiyo Takemi, an energetic shakuhachi flute player who introduced her to the world of Wagakki or traditional Japanese instruments. After attending a concert featuring one of Japan's leading fusion bands, Miya became captivated with the Tsugaru-shamisen, a three-stringed lute. With Hiyo by her side, Miya embarked on a journey to explore the world of traditional Japanese music and make her dream of sharing her love for it a reality. Along the way, she made new friends who supported and encouraged her in her pursuit.
