The individuals in the Umino household share common traits such as energy and liveliness, with the exception of Nagi, a reserved academic who focuses solely on his studies. In contrast to his outgoing sister Sachi, Nagi was exchanged at birth with another baby. During his journey to meet his true parents, Nagi encounters Erika Amano, a popular social media personality whose parents forced her into an unwanted marriage. Later in the day, he discovers that his fiancé is actually himself, prompting his biological father to arrange for them to live together as a couple in order to strengthen their relationship. However, despite any attempts by their parents to persuade him otherwise, Nagi remains steadfast in his refusal to marry Erika and instead has his sights set on Hiro Segawa, a stunning and intelligent individual.
