King of the Dead in Dark Palace, The Undead Lord of the Palace of Darkness, 昏き宮殿の死者の王, The King of the Dead at the Dark Palace

From birth, a boy with noble blood was afflicted by an unknown illness and expected to die without being cured. However, one day he woke up without his usual pain and couldn't feel his heart beating. He was introduced to Holos Carmen as "Fleshman" and renamed "End." End soon realized that he had been resurrected through necromancy and now had to follow every instruction given by Lord Holos. He was forced to fight wild animals in the forest, becoming stronger with each kill. Holos eagerly awaited the day when End would have enough power to transform into a "ghoul." Despite his current circumstances, End considered this undead life an improvement over his human one. However, he couldn't tolerate losing his free will and plotted to escape from Holos control by hiding that he had already become a ghoul some time ago.
