Despite being forced to repeat his first year of high school, Arata Kishimoto remained determined to make new friends in his class. When he was assigned a seat next to Sachi Fujimori, an outgoing and popular girl, Arata immediately felt drawn towards her and wanted to befriend her. However, despite months passing, Sachi had yet to acknowledge him. Every time Arata tried to look at her, she would quickly turn away so that he could only see her side profile. Despite this, it seemed that Sachi shared Aratas feelings of attraction towards each other. The one thing preventing her from acting on these emotions was her embarrassment about them. As Arata's outgoing personality gradually drew them closer together, Sachi began to attempt to catch a glimpse of more than just his profile in order to finally come face to face with the person she loved.
