Tooru Aikawa is a university student who works at a convenience store and plays Real World Online in his free time. He feels most alive when he's playing the game. One day, he has a stroke of luck and gets hit by a runaway bus, which leads to him being reincarnated as Nacht Schatten, a dragon princess character he created as a joke. However, there is a problem: Nacht Schatten's build is not optimized for the cutthroat world of an isekai story, and she is a girl. Despite this, it turns out that Nacht Schatten is more capable than she appears.

The first official volume was published on April 10, 2019 by Mag Garden under the Mag Garden Novels label.The series has been published digitally in English as Did I Seriously Just Get Reincarnated as My Gag Character?! by J-Novel Club since August 17, 2022.
