The Elusive Samurai, 逃げ上手の若君

Tokiyuki Houjou, at eight years old, was not skilled in anything except playing hide-and-seek. One day, his peaceful existence was disrupted when Takauji Ashikaga seized power from the Kamakuras and put an end to their rule. However, thanks to a self-proclaimed prophetic priest, Tokiyuki managed to escape with his life. Now he must flee for his life while gathering allies who can assist him in restoring the former glory of the Kamakura Shogunate. This story takes place during Japan's Nanboku-chou period and follows the journey of a hero whose actions would ultimately shape the nation's future.

Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi is published digitally as an English simulpub as The Elusive Samurai through MANGA Plus service. The volumes have been published in English by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump imprint since July 5, 2022.
