It seems like Matt has a lot on his plate with managing a company and taking care of his daughter. Unfortunately, he also lost his ex-wife, which added more responsibility to him. On top of that, Samantha rejects every nanny that Matt hires. This makes it difficult for Matt to find someone reliable to take care of her while he is busy with work. However, one of his employees introduces him to Tess, who happens to be the younger sister of another employee. Tess is spending the summer at her sisters place and Matt decides to hire her as a nanny for Samantha. To his surprise, Tess quickly becomes friends with Samantha and Matt finds himself falling for her carefree charm.
