In his final moments, a renowned sage employed a novel form of enchantment to resurrect himself in the distant future. Regrettably, upon his return, he was deemed devoid of talent and left for dead in a forest inhabited by fearsome creatures. There, he was discovered and nurtured by goblins who later repaid him by evolving into powerful beings themselves and learning the art of magic from him. This tale recounts the journey of an orphaned child who would eventually establish what became known as the mighty empire of monsters.

Suterareta Tensei Kenja: Mamono no Mori de Saikyou no Daima Teikoku wo Tsukuriageru, originally released under the title Suterareta Tensei Kenja: Mamono no Mori ni Suterareta Daikenja wa, Daima Teikoku wo Tsukuriageru (捨てられた転生賢者 ～魔物の森に捨てられた大賢者は、大魔帝国を作り上げる～), began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in December 2018. Micro Magazine-sha has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since December 26, 2019 under its GC Novels label.
